Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich announced on the Peter B. Collins show that Reps. William Clay of Missouri and Jan Schakowski of Illinois are co-sponsoring H.R. 333. An mp3 of the May 1st show that includes an interview with Kucinich is available on The White Rose Society website.
In related news, the rumors that Congressman Jack Murtha was making any claim about the possibility of Democrats impeaching Bush soon when he appeared on CBS’ Face The Nation last week have been put down. Rep. Murtha’s spokesperson Matt Mazonkey told Greg Sargent that Murtha does not believe impeachment “is appropriate at this time”.
